The topic explains it. I'm certain I wasn't the only person who thought it was moronic. Right? RIGHT?

First off, novels don't have tones. They may use tones in certain areas, but you can't just take a book and say it's "happy". Although, you could say it has happy diction. But, if you did that, then Mr. Herrold would have to rip your head off.

Also, why does she think the bloody apartments even matter? Aah, let's just not touch that one.

And no lined paper, because it's not literary, apparently. I'll bet she'll complain about people not writing in straight lines, too. That makes me feel rather Over 9000.

Yeah, and also, she seems to have gotten nearly all of her Crime and Punishment material from sparknotes.

Look familiar?

Now, I'm not saying Mrs. Swizzlemeats is a bad person. Seriously, I'm not. Nope. I never said that.

I disagree whats the point of a novel if it has more than one tone, then i gets too complicated and becomes something like a harp where many tones get all conflamerated together to make one cohesive yet intricate piece of beautiful music. I should only be hearing one tone, one which i can look up on the internet and get all the answers to. Yes. Answers to the tone.

In any case the most moronic part was that not only was it incomprehensibly moronic, but that we got to go home after seeing the quesitons and then finish it.

But in all honesty I really don't understand your post. At the end you didnt summarize the tone of it with one word so now i dont know whether to feel melancholy or didactic Sad

Oh, I had forgotten about that piece of moron-ism. (Mormonism?) I wonder why she even bothered giving us a test.

Also, I can't wait for her to ask us to assign a numerical value to guilt. That'll be great.

The tone of this particular post is suicide , because I'm quite tired of Mrs. Swizzlemeats.

i think that it is ironic that our failed system which fails to pay teachers enough actually fails to pay failing teachers (i.e. mrs swizzlemeats) and that is very odd and in this case a triumph. a triumph of failure...seems appropriate.

anyways there is some irony which i think was the dominant literary element of the year as a work as a whole.

Well, it is quite nice that she will be gone. Very soon, we won't even have need of this subforum any longer. It's also kind of funny that she finally got the job teaching the class she actually wanted, and now she's out of work again. Oh well, she has the Swizzlemeats Shoe Empire to support her, so of jobs she needs none.
